I am a British-Dutch author, journalist, and documentary filmmaker based in Tromsø, Arctic Norway. My work primarily explores themes of adventure, the environment, and travel, but above all, I seek out compelling stories – wherever they may be found.

I serve as Contributing Editor for both Sidetracked Magazine and Oceanographic Magazine, and as Adventure Correspondent for I-M Intelligent Magazine. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.

My writing has appeared in a wide range of national and international publications, including National Geographic UK, The Sunday Times, Lonely Planet, and The Red Bulletin, among others.

In 2019, I was shortlisted for the AITO Young Travel Writer of the Year Award for my feature Isle of Arran in the Scottish Sporting Journal.

As a filmmaker, I focus on stories that connect people to remote landscapes, environmental change, and one another. My work includes the award-winning Tales of Jan Mayen (2021), Kopala (2024), and echoes ( 2025, pre-production).

In 2025, I joined Sorel as a Global Brand Ambassador.
